We absolutely adored our stay at Hotel Amira. From the moment we booked our stay to checkout, this hotel’s staff went above and beyond to make our trip wonderful. The airport transfer was simple to arrange, the room was cleaned daily, and the breakfast was a delicious and calm way to start the day. In terms of location, I loved being able to see the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque from the hotel. The rooftop bar is a great place to relax. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.

An unbelievable stay.  Walking distance to all the main attractions.  Decent restaurants around the hotel.  Breakfast wasn’t lavish but had the basic necessities.  Was too cold to truly enjoy the rooftop terrace, but the views are stunning.  Rooms were decent size.  Beds very comfortable.  We had a corner family room. Enough for 5.  Queen size bed in the main area with small couch. Double and single in the attached bedroom.  2 bathrooms.  It was a little warm in the rooms probably because of radiant heating, but you could open a window and get cold air.  Would definitely stay again.

My only disappointment is that I didn't get to stay longer.

The hotel is lovely, with very nice amenities in the room.

The staff is what really makes this Hotel special. Because of a delayed flight I missed  a tour I had booked. I only had the afternoon to see as much as possible and the gentleman at reception was able to set up a short notice private walking tour. It was very reasonably priced and in the end was so much better than my initial plans.

The airport transport arranged by the hotel took so much stress out of my trip planning.

Great hotel located a short walk from main tourist attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had a big bed, safe that could store a laptop. The shower and jacuzzi bath was great with plenty of hot water. The free breakfast buffet was perfect with lots of choice.

This is a difficult review to do.  The hotel for what it is, is okay, It did fall short in some key areas.  We traveled from the other side of the world. Being able to comfortably rest is important. Some staff spoke very loud, especially during normally quieter time periods.  The front desk and dining staff were nice.   The room we stayed in could use some necessary general maintenance.  Advice, wire the refrigerators independently, so when your guest leaves the room, they remain on.  Bedding should include a top sheet below the bed spread.  It was helpful that they offered shuttle service to the airport.  We were in Istanbul for five days.  It wasn't what I envisioned it would be.  I do not plan on revisiting in the future.
