Our recent dining experience can be best described as exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the entire team was dedicated to making our lunch a memorable one.

The attention to detail was impeccable, with every aspect of the meal carefully considered and executed. The chef, along with the skilled team, delivered excellence across the board. Each dish was crafted with precision and care, resulting in a meal that was truly delightful.

Overall, the food was not only great but also elevated by the outstanding service. The entire experience left a lasting impression, and we look forward to returning.

Hands down the most inventive, locally sourced, creative and astonishing dinner I've even experienced. Chefs Jimmy and Flo and there team created an exceptional experience that we won't soon forget. No better place to celebrate a birthday in Phuket!

Probably the kitchen with the most stunning view + if you don’t like durian, they will change your mind here.

My partner and I visited for a special occasion. We unfortunately got sick on the original date we were supposed to visit. The restaurant was accommodating in changing the date for us, which we appreciated.

This is one of the very few restaurants that we visited with a Michelin Green Star. We enjoyed the community-to-fork experience. Each dish was a master piece, and my personal highlight was the “King of Fruit” smoked durian dish. The smoky flavor really came through and took away some of that pungent durian smell. My partner who isn’t a fan of durian also liked it.

As the kitchen is right in front of your eyes, we also enjoyed observing how the culinary team interacted with each other. This added personality to our dining experience.

I went to  PRU in November 2024 and left early after eating 3 out of 8 courses in their tasting menu… I would thoroughly recommend eating anywhere else.

The meal was bad for multiple reasons starting with the initial 3 appetisers of which only one was of a decent standard. As we moved into the main dining area we were seated far too close next to another couple who were speaking so loudly we couldn’t hear the explanation for the king of fruit dish. The taste of this dish invoked my gag reflex and the texture felt like vomit in my mouth.

The coconut ceviche was bland but at least removed the taste from the first dish from my palette. At this point I noticed that in the kitchen plates were only being dressed and nothing was being made in view of the diners. The third course came and I had not tasted a single exceptional dish, this was not going to be an exception. The presentation looked as if the food was constructed by trainee chefs.

Put simply the restaurant was not of a Michelin standard when compared to the restaurants I have dined in London, Valencia, and New York. The dishes were not complex and lacked variety in both texture and flavour.

I would add the service was great with the exception of not being able to hear any explanations of the dishes due to the spacing and not witnessing anything within the open plan kitchen.

The reason is that I had relied on their Michelin star to signal excellence in food for my girlfriends birthday in Thailand and I left wishing I had gone to a night market in lieu of opting for faux luxury.

There was also very little recourse to correct the sub par experience despite everyone being very polite.

If you want an experience like no other while in Phuket this is where you should go. Price point is more than worth it from beginning to end the team at PRU cared about you and it show by their willingness to go above and beyond in the food and their hospitality
