There are lots of resorts on Samui, most of which are fairly nearby to each other. Garrya stands out in that it is more secluded, offering what feels like a private jungle island experience but with extremely easy access to the rest of the island should you choose to explore.

We stayed in November for our honeymoon and the service here was truly incredible. We chose to do the airport transport which was seamless. They met and welcomed us upon arrival, and decorated our bed with flower petals as we had told them it was our honeymoon!

The food at the resort is also quite delicious (just expensive, but that's the norm at resorts). Room service is quick, and every single staff at the resort acts with care and with a smile. They even go around to the units mid-day offering little complimentary (and yummy) snacks.

Unfortunately it rained a bunch when we were there, but the pools were very nice and tranquil when we did get to use them. And you can ask for golf cart transfer from the main building to your room if your room is far away!! The best part is that, despite the rain, it felt like a tranquil and luxurious jungle escape, given the location and overall vibe of the resort. I don't think you'd get the same sense at other resorts.

I'd love to come back one day when it's sunnier!

We celebrated the New Year at Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui and were thoroughly impressed. General Manager Manuel's meticulous attention to each and every detail was evident throughout the resort.

Our pool villa was impeccably clean, offering stunning ocean views. Breakfast featured delightful homemade breads, preserves, excellent coffee and freshly blended fruit smoothies.

The private beach provided a serene setting for relaxation, and the well-maintained pool areas were complemented by attentive staff. Upon our arrival, Jazz welcomed us with a warm smile and Boy efficiently transported us around the resort in the buggy.

If you are looking for a most wonderful blend of luxury, attentive service, and natural beauty, this is the resort for you.

We offer our sincere gratitude to everyone at Garrya Tongsai Bay Samui once again for making our stay perfect and we look forward to returning to this precious sanctuary in the future.

Our experience at Garrya Tongsai Bay was a memorable one for our family. The beaches and pool are clean. Rooms were beautiful. The buffet offered a huge variety of food which catered to all. International restaurant near the beach was very tasty and had the most amazing view.

All staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Special thanks to Pu, for making the most delicious smoothies ever!

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at Garrya in Samui. The resort is a secluded heaven in Samui. 28 acres of lush green hill on the beach. The staff is so good they pamper you with everything. The hotel sent a bubbly on our anniversary day. The spa is also such a nice a peaceful secluded place. All 3 restaurants are great and they take very good care of your dietary needs.
All in all such a wonderful place serene peaceful and one with nature.

Our honeymoon stay at this hotel was nothing short of spectacular! The service truly exceeded five stars; from the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every staff member went above and beyond, always with a smile, and nothing was ever too much trouble.

The breakfasts were simply beyond amazing, and the lady who made fresh juices in the mornings became a highlight of our stay. Her joyful spirit and delicious "happy juice" ensured we started each day with a smile. I

The beaches and amenities are stunning—with breathtaking views. The hotel also offers a range of daily activities and events, like yoga sessions, morning walks, complimentary kayak and SUP boarding, and even under-the-stars movie nights. There’s always something to do, but you’ll also find plenty of space to just relax and unwind.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed with handmade cutout letters on our bed spelling out "Happy Honeymoon," along with a bottle of champagne and a fruit bowl. Every evening, we were treated to a special sweet snack in our room, with the turn-down service already thoughtfully completed. These small gestures made us feel so special.

Every interaction with the staff was a delight, and there was always someone ready to assist with anything we needed. It’s rare to find such a high level of personalized service, and we couldn’t be more grateful. This was the perfect place for our honeymoon, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
