From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene atmosphere and the incredible story behind the resort. Kevin and Sheila, the owners, have poured their hearts into this haven. Kevin built the resort from the ground up, working alongside the local community, and together, Kevin and Shelia have created what feels like paradise on Earth.

The ambiance is unmatched—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the stresses of everyday life. It feels like a home away from home, seamlessly blending luxury with nature. Birds sing, butterflies flutter by, and even King (the cat) or one of the friendly dogs might stop by to share their love and affection.

The accommodations are in a class of their own. Each dome-shaped room features an en-suite bathroom, all essential necessities, and breathtaking views. Imagine waking up to the ocean stretching out before you and a lush jungle behind you—it’s simply mesmerizing.

The staff are exceptional—warm, attentive, and always ready with a smile. The food is equally impressive, offering delicious vegan and meat options. And the facilities? They’re beyond amazing! The infinity pool overlooks the ocean, a basic but perfectly equipped gym is nearby, and there’s even a sauna for ultimate relaxation.

What truly sets Jaiyen Resort apart is the love and acceptance you feel from the moment you arrive. Staying here feels like becoming part of their family. Having travelled to some of the world’s top lodges and resorts, I can confidently say this is one of the best.

Great experience at Jayien, 100% recommended. Beautiful room and bathroom, peaceful, my room had a view on the ocean which makes the difference.
Very kind and caring staff, they even gave me a birthday cake and sang for me, so moving I will never forget that❤️

Maybe the best meal we had on the island. Everything was fresh, tasty and a feast for the eyes. We didn't stay as guests but everyone is welcome in the gorgeous lounge/restaurant with a perfect sunset view. Bonus points for the cute kitty lounging along with us.

We came to this resort to relax and enjoy nature. We got the front room  and came in low season. Every time it would rain at night time we would have so many little caterpillar worms inside the washroom floor. I was so scared walking in the middle of the night to go to the washroom thinking I’m gonna step on these worms. When they came to clean the room, they never clean the floors. They never clean the washrooms. They did such a rush job cleaning the room. The menu does not have a big selection of food. We order fresh juice for breakfast and  got got warm juice that was not fresh.
We order fruit plate with yogurt,
and they choose to put rotten ripe bananas in our order.
We asked for Motorbike and they gave us a motorbike which was over 15 years old. The Motorbike was all rusted and was falling apart. They asked for 300 per day.
I said no, I will not pay 300 for this Motorbike. I need a more newer bike.
We went out on the island and made some friends with the locals. I asked one of the locals if they could come and pick us up from the hotel and take us to the ferry. He looked at me and got scared and said no please arrange transportation with the hotel only.. so basically the hotel is trying their best not to get any other taxi services to be involved with the guests so they could over charge you 500 to take you from the hotel to the ferry. And guess what the driver is the maintenance guy of the Hotel. They put us in a situation where we had no choice but to pay 500 for two people one bag to go to the Ferry. Everything is overpriced and really the rooms are very simple.
This is supposed to be a high end more expensive hotel, and when you sit in the restaurant to have your meal you get attacked by so many mosquitoes I don’t understand why they don’t put a mosquito electric zapper for the guest.
The location on the view of this hotel is beautiful. Would I go back to this hotel with the choices I have in Thailand? NO Thanks

Such a peaceful and calming place surrounded by nature. You can tell it has been created with a lot of love. Staff was lovely as well and helped out with everything we needed. All the breakfast and dinner options we tried were really yummy and healthy. As mentioned by other reviewers, you might be visited by some adorable cars and dogs looking for cuddles :-) We thorougly enjoyed our time at Jaiyen Eco Resort and would love to come back some time! Note that Jaiyen is on the quieter side of the island, so your best way of getting around will be to rent a scooter (about 20 mins to get to the swimmable beaches).
