Amazing rooftop restaurant and bar. The food was excellent and the drinks were fantastic. Great tunes and vibrant atmosphere with a view of Bangkok hard to beat.

Ashamed to say I fell for a tourist trap.
The 800 baht up front fee should have been a giveaway.

Cocktails were low quality, food was poor and awful value.
No ambiance, everybody on their phones, staff unattentive. The whole thing was a real shambles.
Other rooftop bars have live music on a Friday night, bustling atmosphere, lively guests.
I could feel the energy leave my body as I was guided to the table. Large table so I feel unengaged with my friends. Cold furniture, awkward layout, poor viewpoints, faint smell of cigarettes, uncomfortably quiet.

Looking around, nobody wanted to be here.

Only positive really was the view but this was the final rooftop bar out of 6 that I visited and the view, while obviously higher, was one of the less interesting.
Coming here for sunset and 360 views is probably the best.

To give an idea of price, we had one cocktail each, a water and some chicken satay and we ended up still paying a little more than the 800 each. Water was 190 baht.

Maybe a decade ago this place was unique enough to warrant this price gouging but nowadays they really need to up the quality or remove the fee as there’s a lot of much better rooftop bars in Bangkok.

I loved every minute of being on the rooftop of banyan tree Bangkok. There is a minimum spend but it’s easy to meet the spend with a few drinks. Staff are so kind and helpful. Tons of great photo opportunities. I highly recommend visiting if you get a chance to.

I would recommend paying this place a visit, as it is a unique experience being so high up in an open air bar, and the views are incredible. Overall, the service was actually good. But the bartenders aren’t great – they weren’t able to make what I would consider a pretty normal drink, so they seemed pretty inexperienced. Also, it isn’t very accessible, as after you take the elevator to the top floor, you still need to climb at least three more flights of stairs to get up here, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues.
