STAY AWAY
Based only on the crab dish I ordered (see photo), I will never again come anywhere near this place. Beautiful and appealing from the street, it lured me like a Venus flytrap does its prey.

The crab tasted nothing but. Instead it was probably sitting in a freezer for months and it tasted like mud. They also included the shell which was so overcooked it was so soft it melted in with the sauce and you ate soupy crab shell. Nothing in the dish tasted anything other than despicable mush. After two spoonfuls I couldn’t have any more. It was overpriced, too, but hungry tourists get drawn in by the prospect of resting their weary feet but wouldn’t bother reading reviews. In Thailand, I loved 95% of new food I tried. This was the only disgusting one.

In the crowded and noisy Khaosan Road 🔊🎶🕺💃, if you want a quiet restaurant with amazing decoration and good food, "my darling" is your place.
This is important because other places are not able to maintain a conversation because of the music, etc., of the street.

The pad thai was really good, but the shrimp were terrible! They tasted watery, without salt or flavor. There was a super cute stray cat, so I gave my shrimp to the cat! 😺

The food was neutral good. Wasn't bad, just not very tasty. A bit tasteless. But, the service was the worst thing about the place. The waitress wasn't very nice and as we asked for the bill, she BLURRED THE ACTUAL PRICE ON THE BILL AND REWROTE IT WITH A LARGE TIP (10%). I do not recommend.
