In love with this place and would highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a quiet stay with delicious local food. I stayed only one night but came back to Bangkok fully recharged. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners are sisters who grew up in the area and really put their hearts and soul into this place. I particularly love the breakfast on the patio in front of our room where I get to make Khaojee (grilled sticky rice) and grilled pork myself. My photos wouldn’t do justice; this is the place you have to come and stay to experience it!

This is a must to visit in the Isaan region/Khon Kaen area. We had a wonderful time with Pu and the staff. It is a beautiful farm, with lovely and comfortable accommodation, and beautiful animals. We spent here one night, but it could have been more. Our farm tour and cooking class before dinner were informing and fun. We had lunch, dinner, and breakfast, and all food prepared in here tastes incredibly good, some of the best meals I have had in Thailand. Very serene stay. We loved it.

I had the pleasure of staying at Mekin Farm and I regret not staying longer. Phu and her family have created something really special here at Mekin Farm and it's so inspiring to see a place like this which celebrates and teaches you all about Isan culture through food. You really can embrace the simplicity of the Isan lifestyle. The cabins are spacious, tranquil, beautiful, stylish and has everything you need including a bathtub. Many hammocks around too. We had lunch, the included dinner which was also a cooking lesson and the breakfast was also a bit of a cooking lesson. Every single thing we cooked together and ate was full of flavour,l using organic and the most fresh ingredients. The animals are very well looked after and it's just such a beautiful property. I will definitely come back. Highly recommend Mekin Farm, it's a must in Isan.

I brought foreign exchange students here for a cooking class and some cultural activities. We all loved this experience so much! Food was amazing and the tour of the homestay and farm was very fun! They loved using flowers for coloring and try eating some edible flowers.

Perfect little farm with a few cozy rooms. Owner is very sweet. Food is great - tastes good and looks amazing! Totally recommend:)
