What a truly wonderful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the location was prime! The hotel itself was very clean, had great amenities, and the spa was to die for. The restaurant and teatime were delicious. And breakfast was exceptional as well. If you are looking for an incredible place to stay in Chiang Mai, that you absolutely won’t regret, look no further.

What a great boutique hotel! The staff were so friendly and kind, and the hotel was perfectly located right across from the main temple in the middle of the square. The breakfast was delicious and our room was huge, clean, and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!

This is the single best hotel in Chiang Mai. I recognize my bias—I stayed here from 11-14 January, and had a fantastic time. But that bias comes from the treatment we received, and the overall energy of everyone there. To begin, the hotel is centrally located, across the street from a large, often-visited temple. It is about twenty steps from the hotel’s front door, the street separating the two also being one of the locations of Chiang Mai’s Sunday walking street. In most places, this would mean a loud room, but here, with its soundproof windows, we heard nothing unless we chose to. It is also steps away from a 7/11, a wonderful boutique, and everything food- and drink- related you can imagine.

Breakfast was included in our booking, which included a variety of Western dishes as well as more local flavors. You can get fresh made eggs of any type, as well as local fruits, yogurt, juices, and quite honestly anything you would desire at an upscale breakfast buffet.

Our in-room fridges were stocked with sodas, beers, and juices, and there were enough bottles of water for us to never have to ask for more. All of this was free of charge. There was consistent hot water, fresh linens, and we were left in want of nothing at all. It’s perfect.

We were also informed when we checked in that we were given a free upgrade to the suite, which was an incredible perk. The only downside was that we hated that we had to leave to go out and explore the city!

The staff were extremely helpful, assisting us in doing laundry, carrying bags, booking a tour to Hug Elephant sanctuary, and getting transportation for four people and their bags to the airport. Overall, we were sad to leave this hotel because of how much we loved it. Without hesitation, I would book here again next time I’m in Chiang Mai. Such a wholesome experience at the heart of old city. Best stay in Chiang Mai imo! Very aesthetic as well esp at night when the lights came on and the sky lanterns on the tree lit up.

We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at Chala Number 6! The hotel is beautiful and there is a wonderful attention to detail, from the chairs, to the scents and the gorgeous landscaping. The rooms are beautiful, very comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The hotel is very close to many shops and restaurants and within 20 minutes you can walk all over old town, or take a short tuk tuk taxi to farther away temples, neighborhoods and restaurants. The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend staying here, it is definitely worth the money, especially for a special occasion.
