We booked a stay for several days in Bangkok and need to request cleaning services and drinking water.

The reception area is a bit hidden at the front, and it’s not immediately visible when you first arrive.

The private duplex room has a nice design, but the condition is poor, and it is quite noisy.

There is a serious water system issue that needs immediate attention, as the water runs out multiple times.

We accidentally looked under the bed for something and were disturbed to find other people’s belongings still there, also thick dusty

Perhaps my expectations were too high regarding cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff.

I stayed at this hostel for 9 nights and primarily used it as a base, as I was out exploring during the day and only returned at night. Overall, I had a decent experience and slept well, except for occasional disturbances from noisy roommates. Unfortunately, one of the guests kept coughing throughout the night, and I suspect I may have caught the flu from them. Additionally, there was a noticeable smell of someone smoking, which made me feel dizzy, although I chose not to report it to the receptionist.

On the positive side, the hostel offers excellent value for money. Its location is convenient, being close to the Saphan Taksin BTS station and Sathorn Pier, with plenty of food options nearby. I also enjoyed the unique cinema stage inside the hostel, where I managed to watch part of a movie. For budget travelers looking for a convenient and affordable place to stay, this hostel is a good option, despite a few minor inconveniences.

I stayed at this hotel/hostel in both a private room as well as in a dorm bunk bed. The condition of the bathrooms in both the private and the shared baths were both poor and horrible (shared bathroom). The shared bathroom, attached to room number 7, has been neglected for a long time as it smelled strongly of mildew and had mold present in the wet and sinking ceiling (see photos). Also, in the shared bath, the caulking as well as bathroom faucet had mildew bonded to it and growing on it. Both shower areas leaked so that water would flow to other areas of the bathroom. The bathroom and walls in the private room were in poor condition (unfinished tile work in private bath with marks all over, painted sheet rock in bathroom).

The private rooms are loft style with the bedroom in the lofts. On the way up the stairs, I did find a major safety concern, as one other reviewer has also pointed out, a loose step that wobbles. I had a very difficult time getting the remote control for the air-conditioning unit to work in the private room (maybe the batteries need replacing). The air-con unit in the shared room was set to 27 degrees, warmer than room temperature (see photo).

I was able to find an employee who was able to find a remote so we were able to cool the room. The breakfast buffet offered as a convenience to guests is small: fresh fruit, cereal, fried & scrambled eggs, juice (very basic). The cost was near to much more elaborate buffet breakfasts. Overall, I give the hostel stay 1.5  out of 5 stars, and the private room 2 out of 5 stars (as bottled water and peanut snacks were provided in private room).

This hostel has a great location and honestly had really nice rooms! The bed was comfy, and each bed is enclosed for privacy in the dorms. The only issue i had was the bathrooms. I stayed in two different rooms over a week and both had very unclean bathrooms, especially the shower. The walls and curtain had mold all over them and just look like they don’t routinely get a thorough clean. Same with the floors. The shower drain in both rooms backed up and sometimes would flow over and get water everywhere. Cleanliness could definitely be improved here. Other things to note: there’s no communal kitchen, they don’t let outside food on the main floor, they don’t let you sit in the “theatre” which is the restaurant unless buying food, which leaves only a couple tables and couches for everyone to use. Basically there isn’t a great hangout spot. However for a nights sleep, it was great and the rooms were quiet, beds were comfortable!

Good price for good hostel. The rooms are modern and clean. I really liked the location. It's in the middle of Bangkok with a lot of nice spots around for food and entertainment. Definitely can recommend this hostel.
