Wow! I only written about two reviews a year. One when I have a really bad experience and one when I have an extraordinary experience. I didn’t know anything about this place and had been eating all the great foods of Busan. I was at a nearby burger joint when I noticed the sign for this place and kept it in my memory to come back.

I was pleasantly greeted and the space is perfectly sized and designed. The menu came with course options and add-ons. I think it was very fairly priced and not expensive at all.

The yakitori on its own was divine. How could this not be Japan??? It was as good or better primarily with the combination of high quality chicken, proper preparation, and the right charcoal. Courses were in a good rhythm and served on various small dishes. But the thing that stood out to me was the chef’s fusion of Korean flavors. One dish he used some sweet and sour spinach and an accompaniment to the fatty thigh/tail meat. It was the best pairing for this type of yakitori I’ve had. Usually when someone tries to “combine flavors” or go “fusion”, it does not work. But in this case he is onto something BIG. You just don’t see as much GREAT yakitori coming out of Japan for many reasons, but I know of a few in Korea that are standing out very well. This one is the best for me so far. It was a memorable experience for a quiet person sitting at the end of the bar quietly devouring each bite with precision and a quiet “OMG” delight I said to myself repeatedly. Great work chef and I will be back.

너무나 맛있게 먹었습니다.
익힘 정도를 정말 정성스럽게 조절하셨고,
디테일한 맛을 살리려는 노력이 보였습니다.
날개로 보자면 나이가 꽤 있는 닭의 식감이 딱 좋았고(질기기 직전의 식감)
감자샐러드로 보면 샐러드 속 요소들이 다 제 맛을 내도록 잘 조합했어요.
하이볼 농도마저 일본식이 아닌, 한국인이 좋아하는 농도였구요.
오랜만에 아이를 가족에게 맡기고 와이프와 여행왔는데 정말 좋은 식사였습니다.

I enjoyed it so much.
You adjusted the doneness very carefully.
Efforts were made to preserve the detailed taste.
In terms of wings, the texture of a fairly old chicken was just right (the texture was just before getting tough).
If you look at it as a potato salad, all the elements in the salad are well combined to bring out the best taste.
Even the highball consistency was not the Japanese style, but the consistency preferred by Koreans.
It's been a while since I left my child with family and went on a trip with my wife, and it was a really good meal.

당근 다시마와 양배추 염통구이가 젤 괜찮았음!
닭곰탕이 좀 더 따뜻하게 나왔다면 술을 더 먹지않았을까?!
1인이 혼자가도 괜찮을 장소임!

타레에 적셔 구워내는 방식이 아닌
소금 베이스로 구워져 나오는 방식으로,
보다 담백하고 닭 본연의 맛을 잘 느낄 수 있는 곳

야키토리에 대한 애정이 가득한 사장님의 좋은 응대도 만족스러웠고
여느 야키토리 가게들과 비교했을 때(소금 베이스라 그럴 수도 있지만)
탄 부분이 최소화되어 맛에 대한 방해요소가 적어서
더 좋았던 공간

A recently opened yakitori restaurant in Jeonpo-dong.

It is not a method of soaking in a tarae and baking it.
Baked with a salt base,
A place where you can enjoy the lighter, more authentic taste of chicken.

I was also satisfied with the good response from the owner, who was full of love for yakitori.
Compared to other yakitori restaurants (maybe because it's salt-based)
The burnt part is minimized and there are few interruptions to the taste.
