Oh those sticky hot wings and crispy calamari! Excellent choice…….it was really good you know!! These two starters would have sealed the deal but then came the seafood broth. Spicy, earthy and filling. Enjoyed every bit of it.

Service was brilliant and we were seated outside, in the cool of the day overlooking the canal.

Great food, Great views……..a rare combo!

Great place, very nice setting, it feels like you are in Venice! The food was very tasty, we tried the hot pot: several side dishes came with it and plenty of meat. The service is also top notch, we were lucky to be assisted by Lakshan who was very kind to explain the experience for a first timer like me. 10/10 try it out.

We recently dined at Maru Korean Restaurant, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual evening or a special occasion. The menu offered a great variety of authentic Korean dishes, each full of flavor and beautifully presented.

One of the highlights of our visit was our server, Laksha. He was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable.

We particularly enjoyed the beef bbq set menu and kimchi both of which were bursting with traditional flavors. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was spot on. Whether you're a fan of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Maru is a must-visit.

Overall, a great experience with delicious food and exceptional service from Laksha. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere in this restaurant is great! Easily accomodates large parties. Had the bbq meat set, the taste of the beef was great! And the soy bean paste soup that came together was a real winner! It is a bit on the pricier side but for the quality of the food and the area it’s in, it was worth it.

Very nice concept of traditional Korean cuisine. I tried the “Maru Galbi” marinated rib fillet without bone. Fun to cook it yourself on the grill. You then dip it in spicy sauce and wrap it in lettuce salad adding side items such as cabbage, jalapeños, eggplant. Delicious 👍A nice place to come share with family and friends. Screens show traditional Korean cooking recipes. A full immersion
