Kelingking Beach
Beyond the often-trodden paths of Bali lies a treasure waiting to be discovered: Kelingking Beach, an enchanting slice of paradise perched on the dramatic cliffs of Nusa Penida. As you approach, the rugged coastline unfurls in a breathtaking panorama, where verdant hills cascade into the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, their colors seemingly crafted by an artist's palette. The iconic T-Rex shaped rock formation stands sentinel, a whimsical homage to nature's artistry that draws photographers and adventurers alike to savor its majesty.
Walking down the winding staircase that leads to the beach, every step reveals another dimension of this tropical oasis, from the vibrant flora clinging to the cliffs, to the gentle symphony of waves crashing against the shore. Once you reach the soft, powdery sands, the allure of this hidden gem becomes indisputable. The secluded cove offers a serene escape, where the sun kisses your skin, and the rustling palm trees whisper tales of the island's rich cultural heritage.
For the intrepid souls, snorkeling here rewards you with encounters with kaleidoscopic marine life, as shimmering fish dart among coral reefs just beneath the surface. The water is a transparent blue, inviting you to dive into its depths and discover the vibrant world that lies below.
As evening descends, Kelingking Beach transforms into a dreamy landscape bathed in golden light, providing an unparalleled backdrop for a sunset that ignites the horizon in fiery hues. A visit to Kelingking Beach is not merely an inspection of its stunning view; it is an invitation to immerse yourself in the unspoiled beauty and tranquil rhythms of Nusa Penida, an experience that will linger long after you've returned to the bustle of everyday life.

The beach is simply lovely and as most people are scared by the climb it’s not that full. When we visited there were no more than 20 people on the beach and we were proud that we were the only ones in our 50s who had dared to make the climb!
