I visit this Church every year on Christmas to light a candle…🕯️ I love the vibes and it’s the most famous church of Delhi. ❤️

On Christmas, there’s a lot of Media here to cover 🎥 and also it gets very crowded on Xmas day. (I’m not sure about normal days)

It’s a must visit. I’m not a Christian but I still love it.

I unfortunately didn’t get a chance to go inside . (Sadly ☹️)

Also, PARKING is an issue 😢

Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Church in Delhi is a beautiful place of worship. Situated in the heart of Lutyens’ Delhi, the Sacred Heart Cathedral was built to minister to the Roman Catholic community of Delhi when New Delhi was being constructed. The construction of the cathedral began in 1930 and was completed in 1935.

The church sits in sprawling grounds, with gardens, lawns, a parking lot, and various other buildings, such as the Diocesan Community Centre (DCC) Hall next door.

While you can take photos outside the church, photography is prohibited inside. cathedral has beautiful architecture and is a wonderful place to pray.

Beautiful Church located near Connaught Place in Delhi. The grounds themselves are filled with greenery and flowers and parking is available nearby. The Church is well maintained and has a very serene and tranquil vibe. Would recommend visiting this monument once if you're traveling to Delhi!

The church is very beautiful and blessed, there is a lot of peace here and there is also a school for children here. The church here is built by the British and is in the name of the Catholic Church.

This cathedral has beautiful architecture and is a wonderful place to pray. It gets hot inside on weekends so best to find a seat near the fan.
