I used to be a regular before I moved overseas 10 years ago. My first time in a long time. I brought some family members visiting Hong Kong here. The dishes were as good as I remembered. I was no longer familiar with the menu, so we had the 4-person meal for four of us. It worked out perfectly and it was a great deal as well. We had to pack quite a lot of food for the next day. The highlight of the night was the owner, and asked for a photo! Staff were friendly as we had a great time.

One of the iconic restaurant in Yuen Long, has been here since 1950. Went there for dinner on a weekday night, it was surprisingly crowded. Ordered their most iconic dishes and all taste good. Remember to order their pork lard soy sauce rice, they serve the pork lard in a big bottle and you can add as much as you want. This is a place where I will bring my tourist friend here to have a try of old Hong Kong taste

This restaurant is known for its traditional dishes and is always busy on weekends.

However, the dim sum is average, as the quality of ingredients, such as pork and shrimp, is not exceptional.

The prices are reasonable.

It is a traditional Chinese restaurant owned by To gor, a popular figure among the HK restaurants.

Paid a visit at 5:30pm on a Sunday evening,  and got a table immediately. After we sat down for 30 minutes, it was completely full and people were queuing up at the reception.

It offers some special nostalgic Chinese dishes.  To gor was there in the restaurant that day and recommended a few dishes for an early dinner

The fried fish liver with vegetables was great. It was my first fish liver and surprisingly, the texture was very tender and smooth, something similar to urchin. It still has a bit fishy though but I can cope with it.

The pig fat rice with soy sauce is a must try. Don't eat too much though.

Overall, it was a very good dining experience. It also offers dim sum at lunch time
