A great experience. A lot of history and very passionate tour guides. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water. It's boiling hot and windy. Absolutely scenic though. PREPARE TO WALK

The place is rich with history. The bus tour through the prison precinct offers more about the life and treatment of prisoners as well as the types of prisoners.

The inside prison tour where former prisoners such as Mr. Itumeleng Makwela share their experiences makes one realise that the freedom we are enjoying came at a high price to them.

A great experience to take you through parts of South Africa experience, it’s simple but yet very engaging and attractive experience design makes it a unquote place to visit, the staff are very friendly and it’s place to consider visiting if you are visiting Cape Town , keep in mind that there is specific times for the ferry taking you for main land to the island and you need to book tickets in advance
