This is beautiful boutique hotel (10 rooms) right at the edge of the upper kasbah wall. The hotel is stunning, very well kept up, beautiful art, and a terrace that will tempt you to forgo exploring the city. We spent two nights in two of the smaller rooms, which were fine. Some of the larger rooms looked exquisite, and I would have splurged on one of those if not for our sons. There is no AC, and the lively area and bright lights don't make for easy sleeping, but the location and service more than made up for that. That said, you should check out the rooms and ask the staff what room is best for your needs. Very good breakfast served on the terrace. The terrace is so comfortable and offers a stellar view. Everything is walking distance. Service is top-shelf: helpful, friendly, and informative.To top it all off, an easy 10-min walk to the ferry on the day we left. I wish we could have stayed longer.

My husband and I stayed at La Tangerina for 3 wonderful days at the end of February this year. It was our first stop on our tour of Morocco, and what a pleasant start it was!! It was definitely the most charming and comfortable Riad of our whole trip, made especially delightful with the warm welcome we were given by the owner, Farida, and her friendly young staff! We were fortunate enough to be allocated the uppermost room that opened up to the lovely rooftop terrace, overlooking the Straight of Gibraltar! The room was extremely comfortable and it felt like we had the whole terrace to ourselves! What a peaceful, and beautiful setting! The breakfasts they served were also top notch and delicious!
The hotel has been so lovingly restored with artistic accents that personalize it and give it a delightfully warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is also in a perfect location, within walking distance to many good restaurants and the waterfront.
I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone visiting Tangier.

Very charming guest house in a very good location. When we arrived we had no introduction or any information about the hotel and the area. I felt a bit uncomfortable. Few details such the linen and towels should be looked after. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but all in all a very nice clean place to stay.

Visited Tangier in August of 2023. The service and location was incredible. The owners are the sweetest humans and were so accommodating when my boyfriend and I showed up exhausted, full of luggage with no where to go and a fully booked hotel. These guys played a major role in our Tangier experience and we will be visiting them again

The spa has no toilet/ changing room etc. So have to sort yourself out whilst the staff sit in from of you in a very small space (chatting and watching YouTube videos…. ) Ie not v relaxing
