The hotel was very impressive! Beautifully decorated, both modern and traditional in the same time!
And the service was maybe one of the best in the world! The staff was at all time very friendly and helpful, anticipating every possible need we had! It was really an amazing feeling! We loved it!
We tried several restaurants and all were great (the Italian, the Moroccan, the breakfast place, Churchill bar, Salon de The).
And again, the service in the hotel… no matter what part of the hotel we were at; was top-class!!

This iconic hotel is well located just on the outskirts of the Medina. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful, service was excellent throughout our stay.  The location is a short walk to the Medina.  Very good restaurants within walking distance.  We can highly recommend La Mamounia and look forward to coming again.

I recently stayed at La Mamounia in Marrakesh, and unfortunately, my experience was far from the luxurious expectations set by its reputation. Several issues during our stay led to a less-than-pleasant visit:

Late Check-in: Upon arrival, we faced a significant delay in checking into our room because it wasn’t ready. While we understand that sometimes delays happen, this was an inconvenience that set a negative tone for our stay.
Bidet Not Working: The bidet in our bathroom was not functioning. Despite calling reception for assistance, no one came to resolve the issue. We even went to the front desk personally to follow up, but when we returned late that evening, the problem remained. It wasn’t until the next day that the issue was finally addressed.
Dirty Cutlery: We found that the cutlery in our room was not properly cleaned, with remnants of cake left on the utensils from previous guests. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
Rude Service Regarding Late Check-Out: When we requested a late check-out, we were met with unhelpful and rude staff who seemed unwilling to accommodate our request. This lack of courtesy was disappointing and unprofessional.
Despite being patient and flexible throughout our stay, these issues were never properly addressed, and the service did not meet the standards one would expect from a hotel of this reputation. Based on this experience, I would not recommend La Mamounia to anyone seeking a high-quality, reliable stay in Marrakesh.

One of the best hotels in the world, without a doubt. You can truly feel the history and legacy behind how it’s been run for generations. The staff is exceptionally well-trained and professional. However, I was a bit disappointed with the SPA—the front desk service could be more approachable, scan the QR code to get SPA menu” felt far from a luxury experience. For a hotel of this caliber, I would expect a more personalized touch rather than relying on technology for basic services

A bit of paradise in the middle of a often hectic city. Service was friendly and impeccable. Food (Moroccan restaurant) is a mix of traditional and new takes on traditional. All of it tastey. Wine and drinks were great. Make sure that you wander around the gardens. There is a reason that this hotel was voted best in the world 3 times in the last decade.
