So much to say about this restaurant. The highlight of most people’s trips to the south of France! The staff reached out to arrange the boat for me, which was 25€ a person. The staff once we arrived were inviting and kind! Servers are in a bit of a rush, but that’s because of how popular this place really is. If you order slow, they don’t push which I really appreciated!

The food got a 4/5 for me. It was amazing, but portion sizes for the price are hilariously drastic.

5/5 for service and atmosphere. You literally cannot beat this view or even the quick ride too and from!

Truffle pasta was the best I have had so far in Europe, and I just left Italy!

Pick up and drop off was communicated weird. They said go to captain when really on the dock it’s called capitainerie!

They cancelled our original reservation at 3pm which had been booked months prior and moved us to the earlier sitting at 12.30pm which we were disappointed about.

Everything is very expensive but the food is delicious and setting is gorgeous.

We were able to purchase more drinks in the bar area after our table reservation so we could stay for the party post 3pm sitting.

The atmosphere is completely different 12.30pm - 3pm as opposed to 5pm onwards.

Had a great time here, and I would recommend for the experience.

Note: The waiter told us the €90 rose wine wasn’t very nice, and told us to order the €130 bottle, he was very persistent (3 times tried to make us buy the more expensive bottle) but the €90 is excellent so wasn’t necessary.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was truly impressive and elegant. However, I found the portion sizes to be smaller than expected. For example, the grilled zucchini dish was quite simple and could have been presented with more care. The hummus was not bad in terms of taste, but I believe a more authentic flavor could be achieved by drawing inspiration from Lebanese or Turkish cuisine.

The meat dish was served without any accompanying sauce or garnish, which was surprising. Additionally, when we asked for chili flakes, they brought us fresh chili peppers, which was unexpected for a restaurant of this level.

We paid a total of 750 euros for four adults and a baby, and we left the table still hungry. On top of that, we were charged an additional 50 euros per person, totaling 200 euros, for the boat transfer. The staff was generally friendly and attentive, but the fact that so few employees spoke English at such a tourist-oriented venue was noticeable.

The only dish that truly stood out was the truffle pasta, which was exceptional; however, I cannot say the same for the other options. While the atmosphere was impressive, the food and overall experience did not meet the expectations for a restaurant of this caliber.

Visited La Guérite in Nice this June with a group of eight friends, and we had a memorable time. The experience of arriving by boat was exceptional and added a unique touch to our outing. The atmosphere at La Guérite is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a fun day out with friends.

While we thoroughly enjoyed the setting and ambiance, the food quality was medium. It didn't quite live up to the hype, but it was still enjoyable. The service could use some improvement as it wasn't perfect and could be more attentive.

The music quality was another area that didn't quite hit the mark, as it wasn't as good as expected. Despite these minor setbacks, we had a fantastic time. We danced and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.

Overall, La Guérite in Nice is a great place for a fun and memorable experience with friends, even if there are a few areas that could be improved.

The view of the ocean from the sitting area was absolutely stunning.

The restaurant offered an extensive selection of both non-vegetarian and vegetarian meals. The drinks menu was equally exceptional.

It would be wise to make a reservation since the restaurant tends to get very busy, especially around lunchtime. The live band really livened up the atmosphere with their renditions of both classic and contemporary hits.

Apologies for the limited number of photos shared; I completely forgot to take pictures until after dessert arrived.

Visiting the Bay of Antibes Billionaires was an a good experience. The beautiful landscape of the Mediterranean coast is truly breathtaking, and the stunning views make this spot a must-visit if you’re in the area. The turquoise waters, secluded coves, and lush surroundings offer a peaceful escape.

We enjoyed taking in the incredible scenery and learning why it’s such a sought-after location for the ultra-wealthy. While much of the area is private, the coastal paths offer plenty of opportunities to soak in the views. This was an absolutely beautiful stop, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the French Riviera.

Beautiful spot, but important to go early in the morning, and potentially in the 'off-season' as it was too busy to enjoy properly. Also, very hard to find a spot to spread out properly due to the number of people here.
Water was crystal clear and so warm, like a bath! Bring your goggles/snorkel also!

From Antibes station climb the stairs, walk over the bridge to bus stop number 3 and get the Bus 82 to Fontaine. Beautiful small rocky beach. Bring water shoes as the rocks can hurt your feet and be careful when getting into the water because the rocks are slippery. Come early to find a spot to sunbathe as it will fill up quickly. We just came to chill for an hour before starting the hike along the coast.

Really beautiful little beach that's tucked away. Has some shade in the afternoon, but I'm not sure how it is in the morning. Big cliffs for rock jumping, too. The beach is pebbles.

Did a 2 hr coastal hike from here to Plage de la Garoupe, and the whole way was just eye candy. Won’t post all the photos of the hike so I don’t ruin it!

Only con in the billionaires bay is that it’s a small area and there’s a lot of fallen trees

Beautiful island to spend a day, or a morning if you are in Cannes. It's great to go, have lunch and leave, as around lunchtime is when it gets really busy. L'Escale is a great place to have lunch.
You can't miss the fort, you're going to love it!!
Also, get a bit lost and find a quiet beach to spend some time away from the crowds.

Review Title: Disappointing Island Experience for Families

I recently visited this island with my family of five, and unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Our receptionist recommended this spot for swimming with kids, but it turned out to be quite the opposite.

Firstly, the ship company charged us 72 euros, which felt steep given the experience we had. The beach was incredibly rocky, making it difficult to swim or even enjoy the water. For families with children, this is especially problematic, as the rocky terrain is not safe for young ones.

Additionally, while the water appeared crystal clear, it was not inviting due to the dirt and debris present. The coastline is not well-maintained, which detracted from the overall beauty of the area. We found it hard to find a suitable spot to relax or play.

In summary, I would not recommend this island for swimming or a family day out. There are better options out there that are more family-friendly and enjoyable.

Magnifique petite  île préservée, à 15 minutes de bateau depuis le port de Cannes. Attention à l'affluence en saison. Nombreuses criques isolées, une forêt naturelle avec eucalytus et pins d'Alep, une zone ornythologique. Nous avons respecté toutes les consignes liées à l'environnement, ne pas fumer, ramasser tous les déchetS, être silencieux ... Mais cela n'a pas empêché le seul restaurant de mettre la sono à fond dans l'après-midi ... seul bémol de cette belle excursion.

Magnificent little preserved island, 15 minutes by boat from the port of Cannes. Be careful of the crowds in season. Numerous isolated coves, a natural forest with eucalytus and Aleppo pines, an ornithological area. We respected all the instructions related to the environment, no smoking, picking up all waste, being silent... But that didn't stop the only restaurant from turning up the sound system loudly in the afternoon.. . only downside of this beautiful excursion.

I wanted to try here since one of their staff greeted me ‘Bonjour!’ when I only walked past the restaurant last year. Because I believed their service would be genuine and warm….I was right! Young Italian staff has a bubbly personality and sense of humour. Italian beef tartare is scrumptious. Had the best time in Cannes here. Can’t wait for the next visit 😄

Having tried a few Italian spots in Cannes, Tredici in the old town is definitely the one that stands out. The service was spot-on—efficient and attentive, with the food arriving hot and fresh. The pizza here, in particular, deserves a special mention. It was miles ahead of any other I’ve had in Cannes, boasting traditional, authentic flavours that truly hit the spot. If you’re craving pizza, this is the place to go.

One suggestion would be to make the menu a bit more flexible for vegetarians, but overall, it was a very good experience. I’d highly recommend Tredici for anyone looking for an excellent Italian meal in Cannes.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The chicken club sandwiches were delicious—perfectly grilled and packed with flavor. The homemade iced tea was refreshing and the ideal complement to the meal. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right. A great spot by the beach to relax and enjoy quality food. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful restaurant, wish we also brought our swim wear to get the most of the view.

Food was good too, I like the tuna tataki roll the most as it turned out yummier than my expectation. I also appreciate the gesture of the manager? who saw the ice is so melted from platter of raw seafood (because we took a bit of time to eat) and he changed the rest of the dish with new ice so we can enjoy further.

We first went to this restaurant after our hotel concierge had recommended it. We loved it SO much that we came back the next night. From the ambiance to the views to the staff and amazing food, everything was just exceptional. Highly recommend the oysters, tuna ceviche, and the roll trio (lobster, crab, shrimp). We tried the octopus, my husband liked it...it was not my favorite.

We need to choose this place. Was ok. Like read all comments where you see that at 6 pm they will kick you out. I mean these are rules…
