This is one of the oldest man clothing shops in Stockholm, and it has indeed a great atmosphere. You can find a great selection of high quality garments from famous Italian tailors. Prices are very high, as you expect from these kind of shops, but with the great advancements in “made-to-measure” services I wonder how worth it is. The service is probably the worse part. If you exclude a couple of guys that know what they are doing, the majority of the people are completely clueless about clothing, and they could not answer the most simple questions about measurements, constructions etc... they are also not willing to help and completely not interested in their customers. They indeed have sometimes excellent sales, and that is when I think it is worth going there.

Like being transported to Italy!

This is by far some of the best coffee you’ll find in the city. Pair that with the incredible cannoli and super friendly staff and you have a hit!

Ps. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a great saxophone show along with your coffee :)

I had the Shish Taouk Pita with a drink, which combined was 119 SEK (May 2024), which translated to a 10.55 euro deduction on my Dutch bank account. I would say this is not bad for a meal in the heart of Stockholm. The taste was also good, and the staff was kind enough to explain the menu to me in English. If this was not 1000 km from my home with multiple seas in between, I likely would return or be a regular customer.

Cold water with mint and limon on each table. The size of the wrap or sandwich is big enough for one person.

Been coming back to this place for over ten years when I visit Stockholm - everytime worth it.
Personal favorite is "Shish Taouk Pita" (without the union for me) - and it is a chicken/bulgur/garlic heavenly mix.
Somewhat small/few seats- but mostly made as quick lunch or takeaways.

We found this charming little restaurant because we were hungry and didn’t want to eat in one of these typical tourist trap restaurants. So we came in the guy behind the clerk explained us these traditional Libanese dishes and we ordered. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh cooked. The service was also very kind and polite. Had an amazing experience at EttHem a few weeks back. This is my parents favorite hotel, and they were gracious enough to book my husband and I a room here for my birthday for 2 nights and it was everything I’d hoped for and more. The staff is kind and well prepared to recommend/tell you about the food and drinks they have. Plus, the can customize basically anything if you ask. Everything is super fresh and they truly go above and beyond to make your stay feel special. On my birthday I came back to my room after roaming Stockholm and had been gifted one of their “signature Bud vases” (calling them this because they were everywhere in the hotel!). The attention to detail is unmatched and it really does feel like you’re at home. The hotel is extremely serene and just a great place to hang out.

The interior design of the hotel perfectly captured this homely atmosphere. It was understatedly elegant, with a warm and peaceful vibe, achieved through wooden furniture, soft lighting, and a simple Scandinavian layout. It truly felt like being in a private home.

At most hotels, I’ve gotten used to fixed menus and set meal times, but at Ett Hem, none of that applies. The level of flexibility was astonishing. You could choose to dine in any corner of the hotel, and the chef, much like a personal chef at home, would prepare dishes tailored to your preferences, using seasonal ingredients.

When Chef Gustav asked me how I’d like my eggs, I playfully challenged him by requesting Eggs Benedict—a dish you wouldn’t typically find on a standard European breakfast menu without making a special order. Sure enough, Gustav hesitated for a moment but quickly regained his confidence and said, “Of course, it’ll just take a bit of time.” I reassured him, saying that fried eggs would be fine, but he insisted on asking how long I’d be staying, promising to prepare the Eggs Benedict for the next morning if given enough time. True to his word, the next day, I was presented with a perfectly executed Eggs Benedict that rivaled the quality of any top-tier restaurant. This small test really showcased the hotel’s commitment to not only meeting expectations but exceeding them.

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel, small yet filled with charm and grace.

Got to visit for lunch on a recommendation. Definitely recommend planning ahead for the 4 course meal was a great Sunday activity. Be prepared. The hotel is great too. Highly recommend.

4.5-star in my view, only because of the strange pricing on the Coca-Cola (55sek).
The cinnamon buns and cardamom buns are one of the best in town. They were fluffy yet still thick and creamy on the joints of the dough. The cardamom spice was in bigger dices than the normal ones, which gave more flavors and aroma. The sweet and buttery combo was at a perfect level, that wouldn’t make you feel stuffed after eating it.
The Tonkastu in the sandwich was thick cut, which is not that common in Stockholm. The meat was juicy and the odor of the pork was properly removed. The coleslaw and salad was refreshing and not too heavy, gave a good balance of the dish. The toast was fried to a crispy texture and still remained a bit softness of the bread.

A lovely Café located in a side street. I got aware of it because of the huge cinnamon rolls. I had to try and they don’t disappoint! It was very crowded when I came (around lunch time) and prices are rather high.
