We have traveled to several all inclusive resorts in Mexico over the years, and we haven't found one that we both would agree to return to until now. No wonder so many people we've met here are repeat visitors. The service is wonderful. If you ask for something, their response is always "why not?" The rooms are great and spacious, the beach is beautiful, the pools are relaxing, drinks are flowing and the food... The food is actually really good for an all inclusive! We were so pleasantly surprised how good the majority of the food was! We are food snobs from Los Angeles, which has an amazing international food scene, especially Mexican food, so impressing us is not easy! We would 100% return to this resort specifically and are already planning our next year's relaxing vacation.

Josue and Rubi :Exceptional Beach Concierge Service – Beyond Expectations!

During my recent beach vacation, the concierge service was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived on the beach, the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making our experience unforgettable.

They handled every detail seamlessly—setting up luxurious lounge chairs and umbrellas in the perfect spot, ensuring we had cold drinks on hand, and even surprising us with fruit on a particularly hot afternoon. The staff’s warm and friendly demeanor made us feel pampered and cared for.

What stood out most was their ability to anticipate our needs. Whether it was adjusting our setup as the sun shifted or if we needed more water.  We had the cleanest sand in the area!!!

Thanks to their impeccable service, we could fully relax and enjoy the breathtaking views without a single worry. If you're planning a beach day and want a stress-free, luxurious experience, this concierge service is an absolute must.

Our stay at Excellence Play Mujeres was extraordinary! The food was amazing, the ambience was fun yet relaxing, and the amenities were everything you could want and then some. However the best part of the resort were the employees! We were treated so well by everyone who worked at the resort. They all were so welcoming and happy, they made everyday better than the last. Some stand outs for us were our waiter at Magna and Oregano Alan. He was so much fun and kept us laughing every time we saw him. Plus his service was exceptional. At the club beach Cesar, Alberto and Lucy amazing. They kept us comfortable and happy and were incredibly attentive. We went back to their section everyday for a reason! Saving the best for last we have to mention the hilarious Alphonso! He is the tennis pro at Excellence and is the funniest person you will meet. He made tennis and pickle ball so much fun. We went to see him everyday just to experience the joy he radiated. I really wish I could remember the name of everyone who helped us because every person was truly top tier. We are so grateful to the employees for making our vacation better than we could have ever expected!

Our honeymoon has been absolutely wonderful. The staff here truly treats you like family. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

We did the Excellence Club Suite and definitely recommend the upgrade. The private beach staff have been perfect. Especially Josue & Ruby. They went above and beyond to make sure our week here was fantastic. They offered food and excursion recommendations and just wonderful conversation. We love the mango margaritas with tajin!!!

The staff at each restaurant was incredible as well. Each morning and night we were met with smiling faces and welcoming attitudes. They catered to allergies and food sensitivities. They made sure our experiences were fantastic and filled with love and fun.

Make sure to book at the spa!!!!

We’ve stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres four times over the past two years, visiting with different groups of friends, and each experience has been excellent. The hospitality is second to none—staff members go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued and cared for. The resort consistently offers incredible value for the level of service and hospitality provided.

While the food is generally good and varied, it can sometimes fall short depending on personal expectations. That said, it’s a challenge to consistently wow at this scale, and the overall experience more than makes up for any occasional misses.

We recommend Excellence Playa Mujeres. This resort truly lives up to its name.
