Fantastic location in city center next to Train Station and Bus Station. The closest tram stop is not Bus Station though, as it takes longer walk. Better to use next stop. Room is large with decent view of city. Breakfast is fabulous. But there is no bath, no telephone in room. You have to call front desk with cellphone.

We got upgraded upon arrival for one of our rooms from a Superior Extra to a junior suite and regretted accepting the upgrade as the room we got was extremely dirty! It showed very heavy wear and tear and was simply appalling.

Very dusty charging pods and lamps (left & right of bed), very dusty socket at eye level in the bathroom, rather unpleasant looking hairdryer, dirty glasses in bathroom, and a very dirty coffee table to name just a few very in your face things.

I understand that some things are wear and tear like the sofa or the door frame towards the bathroom but the rest could’ve been cleaned and it wasn’t... also not when the room was serviced as we spent the day out and about.

Breakfast was very nice but be aware on weekends it gets very busy. Weekdays was fine.

Location for what we needed was okay but not amazing.

Staff was very polite and friendly.

Biggest letdown though was the poor value for money considering the disgusting state of the room!!

Also, contacted management after and only got, what felt like a very generic apology/replay - not offering any compensation or discount. After all we staid three nights and spent over 1k € for our party of 3. bit of a shame.

There are plenty other places around... might be worth browsing about before choosing this.

The breakfast restaurant front of house amazing buy thayvperson's name has slipped my memory but I remember shr was from Portugal x I feel bad but my previous review contained everyone's  name which have gone .

I travelled alone to Norway with my two year old daughter. We felt very welcomed at Scandic Ørnen. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Very beautiful place and the staff is also very helpful! I loved the Foccacia with salmon which they had in the hallway downstairs. Many bus stations and light rail stations close by!

Good location, comfy rooms. Quiet. Great breakfast. Lots of parking nearby and everything in Bergen is easily reachable from the hotel.
